Let us receive

Joe and I have been married for four and a half years and this is our sixth Christmas together if I counted correctly. We usually don't have a whole lot of money with me being in school, especially at Christmas, but that is a blessing in disguise. Every year, the best thing we can have on Christmas morning is each other. The presents take a back seat, no doubt. This Christmas, I hope everyone receives one thing..."Let earth receive her King" Some people say Christmas is all about giving, but after watching Nora's Christmas Gift every year at Joe's request, I beg to differ. Let us all receive Him. Merry Christmas(all year through)!

Just a note

If you try to look at our page and internet explorer keeps having an error, you may have to download Adobe Flash Player 9. That's what I had to do after we added the videos. Here's the link: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
Hope you're having a great day!

Potty Power!

Finally, school is out! No, not for Mallorie, yes she's only 2...for me! Anywho, we were at home together having a good ole' time when I decide it would be a good idea to check out the local Greenville library. Mal and I walked the few blocks down to the library and read a few books including Care Bears and Aurthur. After that, we scoped out the DVD isle. We grabbed Brother Bear 2, Aurthurs Perfect Christmas, a Civil War movie for daddy, and then my eyes fixed on Potty Power. We'll give it a try, I thought. So, we get home and pop in Potty Power. All of the intimate details of using the potty are exposed. After the video was over I asked Mal if she wanted to go Potty. No, she swiftly replied and said she wanted to watch Brother Bear. Okay, I thought, I won't force it. So, I went in the kitchen to cook dinner. After a while, Mallorie came in and said she would like to see Potty Power again. Eureka! There has been some potty thought in that little mind of hers! Potty thought, not potty mind people:P Moving on, this is where my little Mal has went from baby to big kid in essentially one movie. What did I not say for the last year that she wasn't able to gain the confidence that "Jessica" and "T.P." (yes, toilet paper) gave her in 30 minutes? From then on, she has been in panties and using the potty. Miracles do happen.
